This guide provides information for professionals and organizations interested and/or involved in buying, providing, or advising in ICT, business processes, and shared services. The report helps to understand better the local conditions and opportunities in the ICT sector in Kosovo and to get to know the relevant local companies, persons, and sector support organizations.

The Outsourcing Destination Guide Kosovo is produced in cooperation with GIZ, ITP Prizren, and leading local ICT and service delivery organizations. The information we present is based on over 50 different documents, articles, research papers, statistics, and other resources (given in the texts) from local organizations and media, government organizations, regional and international sector experts, to international organizations such as the International Monetary Fund or the Worldbank Group. 

We  would  like  to thank all of our partners, including GIZ and ITP Prizren, and the authors for their contributions to the Outsourcing Destination Guide Kosovo. 

We present with the catalogue the facilities, services, business environment and conditions in a selection of Technology and Business Parks in Kosovo, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania and Croatia.

As a result, we help decision-makers to understand better the local conditions and opportunities for setting up service delivery operations,

According to Smart Tunisia, the Tunisian Tech sector accounts for about 7,5% of the country’s GDP. This gives an indication about the efforts that have been taken by the public and private sector to develop ICT capabilities and resources.

A strong focus on education and research and the integration of education and research in business environments, have certainly contributed to the favorable climate for ICT in Tunisia.

Morocco’s outsourcing sector accounts today for about 1,5% of the global outsourcing market.

On December 21st 2020, Mimoun Chikhi, president of the offshoring division of the Federation of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Offshoring (APEBI) gave a few indicators of the offshoring sector in Morocco (Medias24.com).

After Chikhi, about 1,000 companies employ around 120,000 people in Morocco in the offshoring sector. He also pointed out the growth between 2016 and 2019, manifested in a 30% plus in employment and 59% in export revenue to 14 billion Dirhams (1,3 billion Euro). We present with the Outsourcing Destination Guide Côte d’Ivoire & Senegal the conditions, capabilities and actors of the Ivorian and Senegalese ICT sectors. We showcase unique solutions by Ivorian and Senegalese industry experts in the form of case studies, project reports and have talked to local industry leaders about their operations and perspective.

As a result, we help decision-makers to understand better the local conditions and opportunities for both: working with IT- and business process service providers in Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal or for investments in own delivery center operations.

This publication is an independent information guide published by Deutscher Outsourcing Verband e.V. (German Outsourcing Association) as a joint initiative with DSAA e.V. and GIZ (Germany).

There are an estimated 6,700 people employed in the BPO sector in Ghana. The BPO segment had in 2019 a size about 120 mio. USD. In 2019 there were more than 20 companies offering business process outsourcing services, a number of IT-parks and more than 50 hubs that provide training, incubator, and mentorship services to startups.
